Intro
I am a U.S. Army Veteran and criminal justice professional with over a decade of combined experience in military police, corrections, probation and parole and workforce development. My career has been dedicated to service, whether protecting communities, supporting justice-involved individuals, or helping fellow veterans' transition successfully into the civilian workforce. Military &Law Enforcement Foundation: As a Military Police Soldier deployed to Iraq, I developed resilience, discipline, and leadership under pressure. That foundation carried into my work with the Missouri Department of Corrections, where I advanced from Correctional Officer to Probation and Parole Officer, building skills in investigations, case management, and rehabilitation strategies. Current Role – Veteran Employment Specialist: Today, I serve with the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, where I connect veterans with career opportunities, training, and resources. It’s a mission close to my heart, empowering others who’ve served to thrive in civilian life through meaningful employment and professional growth. What Drives Me: I thrive at the intersection of service, mentorship, and continuous improvement. Whether in uniform or public service my goal remains the same: build trust, create solutions, and make a lasting impact in every community I serve.
