Introduction
Hello everyone,
My name is Aaron Morris. I currently serve as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army and also work in the fire service as a Fire Chief and paramedic. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to lead teams in both emergency services and military environments, gaining extensive experience in leadership, operations management, and training. With retirement from the military approaching, I want to continue challenging myself professionally.
I am currently based in Louisiana. My professional journey has been centered around leadership, public service, and organizational development. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management and began studying for the PMP. I decided to join this program to continue advancing my education and leadership capabilities.
My motivation for pursuing this program is to expand my expertise in organizational leadership and strategic decision-making. As I continue to grow professionally, I am interested in transitioning more into executive leadership, consulting, and higher-level organizational management roles where I can apply my combined experience in the military, emergency services, and business management.
One of my main goals for this course is to gain deeper insight into leadership theory and organizational strategy while also connecting with other professionals who bring diverse experiences and perspectives. I look forward to learning from everyone in the class and building a strong professional network.
