Intro

Hello everyone,

My name is Dan Weber. I currently serve as a Senior Advisor in the U.S. Army and am about a year away from transitioning into retirement. I’m located at Fort Lee, VA, and as I prepare for this next chapter, I’ve been actively seeking opportunities that help me bridge military experience with industry language, expectations, and frameworks. Programs like this are a key part of that process.

My career has been rooted in the maintenance and sustainment enterprise, where I’ve spent years leading projects, programs, and systems that keep large, complex organizations moving. Because of that background, transitioning into project and program management feels like a natural next step. I’m looking forward to strengthening my understanding of Lean Six Sigma, the terminology used across industries, and the roles each team member plays in driving measurable outcomes.

My goal for this course is to build a solid foundation in LSS methodologies so I can confidently apply them in civilian environments and speak the same operational language as industry leaders.

If you’d like to connect professionally, here’s my LinkedIn profile:

Looking forward to learning with all of you.

See you in class,

Dan
