I am Janiesha Wakefield. I know I am late, but I am excited for this program and the knowledge I will gain. I am a Marine vet. I got my bachelor's degree in Information Management and Systems in December 2024 and I am working in on my Master's in Informatics. I want to get into cybersecurity in the near future. Hello everyone,
Great work tonight kicking off Day 1 of our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt cohort.
We focused on the Define phase, setting the foundation for your project and understanding how to clearly define problems, customers, and outcomes.
Homework (Before Tomorrow’s Session):

“Your Project” file (Project Case Study file)
You will use these in conjunction with Day 1 – Activity 2 (Project Charter).
Inside your Day 1 materials, you will find:
The Project Charter template
An exemplar showing what a strong project should look like
Take time to review both so you are ready to apply them.
What to Expect Tomorrow:
At the start of class, you will:
Break into breakout rooms
Begin building your Project Charter
Apply insights from the Pizza case study and exemplar
From there, we will transition directly into the Measure phase, where you will begin working with metrics and data.
