Hello and Good afternoon, Everyone!
My name is Teela Washington, and I am taking this course at a pivotal point in my career as I transition out of the Army (Fort Sam Houston, TX), as a CSM/SGM, after more than 33 years, into roles where I can further apply and expand my data-driven decision-making and process improvement capabilities. With my background, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner, and Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification, I have developed a strong foundation in leading projects and managing organizational change. I am now focused on sharpening my ability to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and drive measurable improvements using structured, data-driven methodologies. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management, and this certification aligns with my broader goal of increasing my effectiveness in both operational and strategic roles.
Over the next few months, I plan to successfully complete the Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt certifications and have a new job that will allow me to apply the methodology to real-world projects that deliver measurable results.
