Introduction
My name is Rodrigo Hernandez. I’m a Project Manager and a medically retired Army veteran based in the Chicago area.
I decided to join this cohort because I’m currently working toward my PMP and felt that Lean Six Sigma was the logical next step for my professional development. My background in the National Guard as an IT Specialist and Assistant Recruiter gave me a solid foundation in leadership and technical problem-solving, and I’m now focused on translating those skills into the civilian project management space.
My main goal for this course is to learn how to properly use the DMAIC framework to optimize workflows, specifically within IT and service industries. I’m looking forward to connecting with others who are also navigating career transitions or moving into new leadership roles.
