Introduction

Hello everyone!

My name is Lawrence, and I am stationed on Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. I’ve recently retired from the Marine Corps after 22 years of service and I am actively seeking new professional opportunities as I look to pursue a new career with my bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration.

I was motivated to join the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program to gain knowledge and important information about improving process, eliminating waste, improve efficiencies and quality in any career field in enter. I completed the Lean Six Sigma White Belt almost 10 years ago and I chose this program to build on and refresh my knowledge about these programs.

I am transitioning out of the military and want to pursue my next care as a healthcare administrator. Currently, I am looking and filling out job application within that field but also technician/ maintenance managers jobs as well as a fallback plan. One of the biggest hurdles that I am having is most of the healthcare administration position or other medical administration job requires 2-3 years of experience in the medical field. I hope to learn, gain knowledge and use this certification to help improve my resume and standout to recruiters and hiring managers.
