Introduction
Hello Class,
I'm a personal protection, physical security , and threat mitigation professional with more than 20 years of experience. I began my career as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps leading Marines, Soldiers, and Sailors through out multiple Combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After leaving the military in 2007, I worked under various contracts for the US Department of State Diplomatic Security Service High Threat Protection Division and served as a member of the US Ambassador to Iraq’s Personal Protection Detail in Baghdad. Later I worked in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as part of a two (2) man team responsible for the training, development, and professionalization of the Congolese Military and their National Police Force.
Since departing the military / PMC world in 2016, I was selected as the Regional Director of Security for the Massachusetts Trial Courts providing leadership and executive oversight of security operations for over 50 courthouses and leading a team of 180 Court Officers to ensure the safety, security, and protection of all Court facilities, Judges, Staff, Employees, and members of the public.
