Introduction
Hello everyone,
My name is Andrew Soulis. I’m currently serving as an active-duty U.S. Army Engineer Officer with over nine years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, and organizational management. I’m currently located in Washington State but preparing for a transition to Ohio in the near future.
In addition to this certification, I am currently in the process of completing my Master’s degree in Executive Leadership, which has further strengthened my focus on strategic thinking, organizational effectiveness, and leading high-performing teams. I was motivated to join this Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program as part of my transition from the military into the private sector. Throughout my career, I’ve led teams in high-tempo environments where efficiency, risk mitigation, and process improvement were critical to mission success. I want to translate those experiences into data-driven business impact in corporate operations and supply chain roles.
As I transition careers, I’m intentionally building certifications and expanding my technical skill set to complement my leadership background. My goal is to bridge tactical execution with strategic process improvement.
One goal I hope to achieve from this course is mastering the DMAIC framework at a practical level so I can immediately apply it to real-world operational problems and drive measurable performance improvements.
I look forward to learning alongside all of you.
