Intro
Hello everyone,
I'm Osvaldo Ortiz. I recently graduated with my Master's in Data Analytics and a second Master's in Business Administration. Since my graduation, I have considered transitioning into the corporate sector. I have been preparing to transition into the corporate sector by pursuing training opportunities, expanding my professional network, and engaging in continued learning.
Currently, I am a Community Police Officer acting as a liaison between the community I serve and our Police Department. I'm in the Gastonia, NC area, just outside Charlotte, NC.
I am motivated to join this program for several reasons. While many people aim to be efficient and effective, there is often a breakdown in processes and frameworks. The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course will help me bridge that gap by providing knowledge and a framework that connects inputs to measurable outputs. Additionally, this course will build on the knowledge I gained through my academic studies and enhance the credibility of my resume. Lastly, I completed the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt roughly a year ago, and this is naturally the next step.
One professional goal I aim to achieve from this course is to network, build, and maintain meaningful relationships with other professionals outside of my law enforcement circle.
