Hi everyone, I’m Melissa. I retired from the Air Force in 2023, where I spent most of my career working in the medical field. After transitioning out, I moved into the healthcare space and now work in program management and strategy execution.
I’m taking this class because I’m really interested in learning how to make processes work better. In my role, there are a lot of moving pieces and sometimes things feel more complicated than they need to be. I’d like to get better at identifying inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, and using data to make smarter decisions.
I’m hoping Lean Six Sigma gives me some practical tools I can actually apply in my day-to-day work.
