Project Manager
Hello everyone, my name is Tamara Jones, and I am excited to be a part of this Lean Six Sigma Green Belt cohort. I currently work as a Project Manager contracted with CMS, where I work on Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) audits. In this role, I help manage projects that focus on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical record documentation and diagnosis coding that impact risk-adjusted payments.
I have over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, with a background that includes hospital operations, medical records, authorizations, revenue cycle, and healthcare administration.
I heard about this course through a colleague and decided to enroll because I want to strengthen my process improvement and data analysis skills and become more structured and data-driven in the way I lead projects and improve processes. I’m excited to learn Lean Six Sigma methodologies, collaborate with others in the cohort, and apply what I learn to healthcare projects and operational improvement initiatives.
