Introduction

Good morning everyone,

My name is Patrick, and I’m excited to be part of this Lean Six Sigma course with you all. I’m currently serving in the United States Navy as a Retail Services Specialist Chief Petty Officer (E-7), where I lead and manage a team responsible for retail operations, logistics, and overall mission support. I’ve been in the Navy for about 15 years, and it’s given me a lot of experience in leadership, problem-solving, and taking care of people—which I know will tie in well with what we’ll learn in this course.

I’m originally from Macon, Georgia, so just know I’m a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan (Go Dawgs!) and I stay loyal to my Atlanta Falcons too—through the wins and… yeah, those other moments we don’t like to talk about. I like to keep things light, so you’ll probably catch a joke or two from me along the way.

Outside of work, my faith is a big part of who I am. I love the Lord, and I try to carry that into how I lead, how I treat people, and how I show up every day. I also genuinely enjoy what I do in the military and take pride in serving alongside some great people.

Looking forward to learning with everyone, sharing experiences, and growing together throughout this course.

Respectfully,

Patrick
