Anyone else find their car's safety system a lifesaver sometimes?

I've had a couple of close calls lately while driving, and it got me thinking about how much we rely on our car's safety features these days. Like, do people genuinely trust them, or is it just a false sense of security? I was merging onto the highway the other day and completely missed a car in my blind spot. Thankfully, the blind-spot monitoring system caught it, and I avoided a collision. Honestly, it scared the daylights out of me! Do you folks depend on these systems quite a bit, or are you more old-school about it? Have these kept you safe at any point?

I can totally relate to that feeling—it’s shocking how quickly a close call can happen. Safety systems like blind-spot monitors and automatic braking really do make a difference, but nothing replaces attentive driving. I’ve started paying extra attention while merging or changing lanes, yet it’s comforting to know technology has my back. By the way, if anyone is looking for reliable vehicles equipped with these features, I’ve found great options at Autobidmaster buy donated cars wisconsin, where you can browse a huge selection of cars across the USA. It’s worth checking out!
