April 2026 Lean Six Sigma Cohort

Public·594 members

Hello everyone,

My name is Alexis. I am currently serving in the U.S. Navy and have been in the military for about eight years. I am currently stationed in Florida.

I decided to join this Lean Six Sigma program because I’m interested in developing strong process improvement and leadership skills that I can apply both during my military career and in my future civilian career. I’m always looking for ways to work more efficiently, solve problems, and improve systems, and Lean Six Sigma seemed like a great way to build those skills.

I am also in the process of transitioning my career direction. While I have been serving in the Navy, I have been completing my bachelor’s degree online. As I prepare for life after the military, I am exploring opportunities in healthcare administration where I can combine my leadership experience with process improvement and organizational management.

One professional goal I hope to achieve from this course is learning how to identify inefficiencies in processes and implement structured solutions that improve performance, reduce waste, and create better outcomes for organizations.

I’m looking forward to learning from everyone in this course and gaining practical tools that I can apply in my career.
