Greetings
Hello from Fayetteville, NC. My name is Tarsha McKoy-Bain. I am a Certified Career Coach with the Wounded Warrior Project. I am pursuing the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt cohort as a continued investment in my growth as a workforce development and talent professional. I love to learn and experience new things. Investing in myself and others has always been a passion of mine. My superpower is Empathic Empowerment, which I define as the ability to help people see the strengths they can’t see in themselves.
My career has always centered on building stronger, more effective workforce pipelines, whether through high‑volume healthcare recruitment, community-based workforce initiatives, or my current role supporting veterans in their career transitions. Across these diverse settings, I have seen firsthand how process gaps, workflow inefficiencies, and inconsistent systems can hinder recruitment outcomes, participant experience, and organizational success. Developing Green Belt-level expertise will allow me to lead data-driven improvements in these areas with a deeper level of impact.
Professionally, I am working toward expanding my leadership capacity in workforce development, talent operations, and organizational strategy. My long‑term goal is to serve in a senior-level/management/leadership role where I can design scalable workforce systems, strengthen cross-functional processes, and influence organizational decision-making through data‑supported insights. Lean Six Sigma directly supports this career path by equipping me to diagnose root causes, optimize talent workflows, and create sustainable solutions that improve both performance outcomes and service delivery.
